How your PayDate wallet works (balance, refund, payouts)
Your PayDate wallet is built for safety, speed, and full control — whether you’re sending or receiving offers.
Let’s break it down.

Wallet overview
Your PayDate wallet shows four categories:
- Available Balance: Ready to use or withdraw
- Reserved Balance: For prepaid links and offers, refunded instantly if canceled
- Confirmed Date Balance: Funds for confirmed dates, released or disputed after the meetup
- Pending Balance: Funds in the 7-day window before becoming available to withdraw
Each section has a clear label and purpose, so you always know where your money is — and why.
Available balance
This is your main wallet — showing how much you can currently use.
You can create new date links, send offers, or withdraw it to any external Bitcoin wallet.
Funds land here:
- when a prepaid link or offer is canceled or expired
- when a confirmed date is successfully completed and released
- when penalty conditions were set, but didn’t apply (e.g. both users showed up)
Withdrawals are fast, safe, and fully under your control.
Reserved balance: for prepaid links and offers
When you create a prepaid date link or send a prepaid offer, the selected amount moves into your Reserved Balance.
- If the link is deleted or the offer is canceled, the funds are immediately refunded to your Available Balance — with no fees.
- If the other person accepts and the date becomes confirmed, the funds are moved into the Confirmed Date Balance.
✅ Reserved Balance always belongs to prepaid links or offers only. Once a date is confirmed, a different protection and payout system applies.
Confirmed Date Balance
When both sides accept the final terms of a date, the amount moves from Reserved into the Confirmed Date Balance.
This balance includes:
- the agreed price of the date
- any optional penalty fees (set by either side)
The funds stay protected until the confirmed date happens. Then:
- If all goes well, the person who paid clicks “Release Funds”
- If something goes wrong, either party can click “No Show” or “Dispute” and upload evidence
- If both agree to cancel (e.g. “No Vibe”), funds are split or refunded based on mutual agreement
✅ If penalty conditions don’t apply (e.g. both showed up), the unused fee is instantly returned to the Available Balance — no 7-day delay.
How payouts work
Once the confirmed date is completed and funds are released, your wallet updates:
- Released funds move to your Available Balance
- You can withdraw at any time to any Bitcoin address or wallet app
- Most payouts are instant, but a 7-day security window applies in rare cases (e.g. abuse, fraud, disputes)
Your wallet is protected — no chargebacks, no freezing.
Security & control
Your wallet uses Bitcoin (BTC) for good reason:
- No credit card chargebacks
- No frozen accounts
- Global access and full control
- Safe from platform abuse or financial blocks
This structure makes PayDate safer for everyone — especially creators and people receiving offers.
